Step 1: Strip and Wash the Bedding

Step 2: Vacuum the Mattress Surface

Use your vacuum’s upholstery attachment to thoroughly vacuum the top and sides of your mattress. Pay attention to seams and crevices where dust and dead skin cells can collect. This helps reduce allergens and keeps the surface fresh.

Step 3: Spot Clean Stains

Accidents happen — whether it is a coffee spill, sweat mark, or a pet accident. Mix a gentle cleaning solution of one cup of water, one teaspoon of mild dish soap, and a tablespoon of white vinegar.
